Well, the heavy metal camp recently got a new recruitment, in the form of Mr. William Shatner.

He is soon coming out with his new album, Seeking Major Tom.

Recently, Will signed a major record deal with Cleopatra Records. It will be good to watch William singing his guts out, in the new album.

We all know William as Denny Crane, who is the founding partner of the firm, Crane, Poole & Schimdt. A self-proclaimed legend, Denny thinks he can achieve and do whatever he feels like! Denny does not take cases, in which the client is involved in a flagitious act like rape or murder.

Coming back to William’s upcoming project, you will get to hear the album by the middle of October this year. The album is not entirely a metal project, but with the inclusion of William’s cover of Black Sabbath’s Iron Man, it’s got a dash of metal too.

In the album, William has worked with biggies like Zakk Wylde (Black Sabbath), Ian Paice, Chris Adler (Lamb of God), Toots, Mike Inez, Sheryl Crow, Ritchie Blackmore, Bootsy Collins and many more.

Wow!

Most of the songs are covers and they are space themed. Well, he may not be as amazing as Ozzy Osbourne, but I am sure the effort will be worth listening to.
